DMCA Takedown Policy

GIFDB.com respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe a GIF on our site infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown notice.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Send the following information to dmca@gifdb.com:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work being infringed
  3. The specific URL(s) of the infringing GIF on GIFDB.com
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Response Time

We process valid DMCA notices within 48 hours. Content meeting the above criteria will be removed and the uploader (if any) notified.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same email with justification. We will restore content if the original claimant does not file a lawsuit within 10-14 business days.

Repeat Infringers

Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their accounts terminated.
